The Fabric Wall is an interactive display where students can come and touch the numerous textiles samples and learn about the different qualities and origins of fabrics.
Did you know that silk was made from the cocoon of silk worms? Have you ever seen a silk worm cocoon? How many fabrics that are made from plants do you know of?

The year 7s have been given a BBC Micro:Bit to enhance their coding knowledge and expand their computing creativity.

My Micro:Bit Monster responds similarly to a virtual pet that you can pet, feed and send to sleep with the block editor coding scripts.
The 3D printer is even being incorporated into textiles; is there anything it can’t do?!
Here is our first experiment with 3D printing onto fabric. We can now successfully embellish small patterns and shapes onto textiles and clothing.

Coke and Redbull have the highest sugar content per millilitre. They are sold in smaller containers but are the biggest culprits for hidden sugar!
Lucozade and Yazoo have the most sugar per standard bottle because they are sold in much larger sizes.
It’s important for a healthy diet to be aware of how much sugar you eat and drink.
