Our Year 7 Graphics students have become product designers and have been creating key-ring souvenirs for different London attractions. They have developed CAD skills to draw in 2D, design in Photoshop and Vacuum Form their packaging.

The students have chosen to make their souvenirs for Sea Life, London Zoo and The Natural History Museum. They have designed the back packaging using Adobe Photoshop and included all the packaging symbols they have learnt about in lesson.

The key-rings are designed on 2D Design and then laser cut out of acrylic. Watch the video of how the laser cutter cut, etches and engraves into the material.

The end product has a vacuum formed seal to give a professional finish.
